We have spent 3 days in Kununurra and I can not describe how beautiful and peaceful the place is. We are staying @ the Hidden Vally Caravan Park which backs onto the Mirima National Park. There is so much to see and do, we visited the sandlewood farm which is on the same road as the CV park, this Indian Sandlewood Farm took 15 years of government research before it was even planted and the trees take another 15 years to harvest which is still another 3 years away, certainly not a quick get rich plan, when they do eventually harvest the trees the oil they produce is highly sort after as high class perfume base . After the sandlewood farm we had a look at the Celebrity Park and Lily Lagoon.

Saturday we drove to Emma Gorge and El Questro where we walked the hour up Emma Gorge had a swim then returned, all up it took about 2.75 hours and I managed it OK, no problems with the knee. The following photos show a small part of the gorge but they do not describe the sounds of the bubbling brook and the wildlife or the waterfall at the end.
Notice the wave pattern on thr rock
One of the pools on the walk up Emma Gorge
The pool at the end of the walk, it was freezing but very refreshing
Behind the rock to the right is where the hot spring comes into the pool however it only warms the top 2 cm of water before it becomes very cold water again.

Sunday we had a look at a Zebra rock gallery then watching the sun set from Kelly's Knob which is a lookout near the caravan park.
A tree growing out of the rock on Kelly's knob.
We are going to Lake Argyle tomorrow and I'm not sure if there is internet coverage so if you don't here from us for the next week we're still Ok. That's all for now take care.
