Saturday we left early to travel to Windham without the van, our first stop was The Grotto which is quite spectacular without water running over but you can imagine the force of water flowing over in the wet. Windham was next, unfortunately it was not the best of days as there was a lot of smoke haze so when we drove to the Five Rivers Lookout the view would have been amazing had we been able to see clearer. It was still impressive and we met a group of tourist from NZ and one couple sat with us while they had morning tea, they gave us heaps of tips and information for when we do our tour of NZ. We then drove into Windham and what a depressive town I found it to be, a lot of derelict buildings and abandon bits and pieces, I’m glad we went though.

We had the pleasure of a private guitar show after tea from our neighbour who is learning but loves to perform, he’s not bad. Thank you Lance. The temperature is starting to heat up and get muggy so we’re heading south towards Halls Creek & Broome, not sure when we will have internet again so stay well, don’t forget you can comment on the blog let us know what you’re up to also.
